About Denys
My name is Denys and I am a professional tattoo artist, specializing in black and grey realism tattoos, with 5 years of work experience. I’ve been drawing since my childhood; apparently my favourite subject at school was Art. At the University I was fond of engineering graphics. After graduating from University I became an engineer and worked in this field for 15 years in Ukraine, then for 2 years in Algeria. In parallel with my main work I practiced drawing portraits first on paper, then on granite. In Algeria, I got into tattooing at the request of my friends and colleague, because a lot of people wanted to have tattoos, but there was no tattoo artist. So I got my first tattoo experience in Africa. Then after the end of the contract I returned to Ukraine and began to practice tattooing professionally. A year later I went to Poland where I tattooed for 3 years. Then I moved to Germany, where I tattooed for about a year.
