Yana

My name is Yana. I was born in Ukraine on May 26, 2000. In a small town. From an early age I was attracted to creativity but it was more in music than in drawing. At the age of 15 I left my parents for Odessa to study. I was studying to be a programmer but after 2 years of training I realized that this is not what I would like to do in life. At the age of 17 I dropped out of college and came back to my parents. All winter I had the opportunity to think radically about my future, against the background of boredom, I began to draw a lot. That same winter my father bought me my first tattoo machine and that’s how my journey as a tattoo artist began. During 5 years, I sometimes gave up my dream and traveled. At the beginning of 2022 I went to live in Poland in hope to start from scratch and start tattooing professionally but when war broke out in my country I decided to move again and this time further afield, to Canada. It was here that fate brought me into contact with a wonderful group of people at Atticus Tattoo that helped me realize myself. Well… in Canada my story begins …
